Dear UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, and all the UN leaders,
We believe that there should be one unique currency in the world, which symbolizes the importance for people to GIVE instead of RECEIVE. The foundation of this value system is charity. In addition, the currency should go beyond the constraints of time, space, political systems and other impacts of our human society. The currency should be the interaction between us and our spiritual world. It should carry the message of interfaith understanding and world peace.
Among all kinds of currencies in the world, only the U.S. dollar has “In God We Trust” printed on it. Within comparatively a short period of time, the U.S. became the world leader in various fields.
We need a currency that can reflect the true value of human societies all over the world. Unlike the wealth people now accumulate on earth, the value of our new currency won’t disappear at the moment of the separation of a person’s body and soul. The value will continue. It’s eternal. All religions and culture teach people that
“Possession of real wealth in heaven,” What is the wealth of the eternal heaven?
Diamond has been trying very hard to fit this position for several decades. Diamond business operators have spent billions of dollars in advertisements to make people believe that “A Diamond Is Forever”. However, all religions mention Pearl as the treasure in heaven in their texts instead of diamond.
In addition, pearl can contribute to environment protection in a significant way. According to the news of The New York Times and Metro about the challenge that New York City is facing due to the sea level rise, experts mentioned that oysters might be the solution. Oysters attach themselves to a nubby rope framework until they create a reef. The reef captures sediments to form islands, marshes, shallow bays, which slow flooding, add recreational appeal and support diverse wildlife. As a bonus, the oysters would also filter the water of pollutants.
We strongly believe that the UN should have its own currency. The UN should be financially and economically strong in order to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations and promote social progress, better living standards and human rights. UN’s currency should work beyond the constraints of time, space, political systems and other impacts. It should carry virtues that people value all over the world and contribute to interfaith understanding and world peace. Pearl Currency can fulfill this mission.
We the peoples… would like to contribute to a stronger UN for a better world. Therefore, we feel the responsibility to present this unique idea to you. The most successful ventures today would have been considered “unblievable” 30 years ago. We sincerely hope that with our partnership, we can make this meaningful program happen for a better world.
Yours Sincerely,
